What Is Urban Nature Impressionism- Interview with Michael Endicott

LOOKING THROUGH MY LENS: As an Urban Nature Impressionist, I find my patrons and viewers enjoy learning of what is the "original photo." Some prefer an oral description so as not to fully confine their imagination. Some like seeing the original photo. For my Urban Nature Impressionism Artwork, once the photograph is taken, the photograph itself becomes the object. By sculpting with the wavelengths of light contained in the photo, that which was created by nature (water, wind and temperature) on a work of wo/man (building) becomes its own painting. Join me for this example of the joy found on my recent walk at Sugarbowl. #icicles #snow #sugarbowl #tahoe

Artists:  Bogomir (Argentina and Brazil), Jane Lombard (USA), Eric Hiss (USA), Jessica Danforth (Kenya) and Michael Endicott (Cuba).    See you at 1207 Divisadero St. San Francisco, CA.

Quote for contemplation:  Strategies for resilience are quite specific for each individual.  Sometimes we know it consciously and sometimes not. EoF set these artists out to find the face of it. We hope you will see some of what they saw and be uplifted.

“Life doesn’t get easier or more forgiving, we get stronger and more resilient.” from Steve Maraboli - Life, the Truth and Being Free.
